Sementara Rohaya sendiri membenarkan jika Selamet pertama kali mengajak menikah.
Awalnya ia ragu, namun setelah mendengar penjelasan Selamet ia menerima hal itu.
"Dia bilang cinta mati. Kami sama-sama cinta," kata Rohaya ke depan jika ada modal akan berkebun padi.
Sementara belum ada ini mereka akan seperti biasa mengambil upahan berkebun.
"Kami menikah tidak ada paksaan. Kami memang saling suka dan cinta. Setelah menikah ini kami akan tinggal di rumah ini, anak-anak saya sudah berkeluarga dan tidak tinggal di rumah lagi," ceritanya.
